Audubon Engineering Solutions to Present at the 2015 Offshore Technology Conference

Audubon Engineering Solutions will present “Topsides Design Philosophy” at the 2015 Offshore Technology Conference in Houston, Texas on Tuesday, May 5, 2015. Denis Taylor, Managing Partner at Audubon Companies, will deliver the presentation during the technical session, “Delta House: Implementation of a Fast Track Project.”

The presentation focuses on the growing need for cost-effective, technological improvements for deepwater production achieved by leveraging design techniques typically used for shallow-water platforms. Taylor will discuss how Audubon Engineering Solutions’ flexible design approach, showcased in LLOG Exploration’s Delta House deepwater development, has set the new standard for future floating production system (FPS) platforms.

“This technical presentation will help attendees gain insight into what makes the Delta House project an example of upcoming deepwater production,” said Denis Taylor, Managing Partner at Audubon Companies. “Developing this ‘one-size-fits-most’ approach for the Delta House FPS has allowed our design to become the basis for future LLOG Exploration deepwater developments.”

Audubon Engineering Solutions representatives, Daniel Newman, Sr. Process Engineer, and Will Vocke, Process Engineering Associate, will lead another presentation entitled “Offshore Condensate Stabilization and Exportation.” Vocke and Newman will discuss the benefits and methodologies behind the installation of a Condensate Stabilization System on the Delta House FPS. From process equipment and intended operating conditions to the effects of seasonal variables, this presentation will cover the process design approach used for the production facility and the challenges associated with the disposition of NGLs.
