PROJECT EXPERIENCE
Large-Scale Carbon Capture & Sequestration
Large Scale Carbon Capture & Sequestration Project
Client:
Public Company
Location:
Southwest, United States
Project Summary:
Audubon provided front-end engineering and design (FEED), economic evaluation, and project management for a large-scale carbon capture and sequestration (CCS) project. The emissions-reduction effort aims to capture, process, and sequester approximately 1.5 million metric tons of carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from industrial facilities that would otherwise be released into the atmosphere.
Audubon’s scope of work includes the conceptual design, technology selection, and project capital expense (CAPEX) and operational expense (OPEX) basis for capturing CO2 gas from local emitters. The captured CO2 will be processed and transported via pipeline to produce a high purity CO2 product, then used in enhanced oil recovery (EOR) and permanently sequestered in an existing oil field.
Project Overview:
- CO2 capture
